Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. How long is the site mine?

Your site will be live for 12 months, which is included in the cost. If you wish to keep your site live after this period, we will charge $35 per additional year. We will contact you a month before the end date to enquire whether you wish to keep your site live.

2. What information do i need to provide?

During the site creation process we will ask you to choose the template you want (this can be changed at any time after the sites creation), along with the following information:

  • Name of Bride and Groom
  • Location of the wedding
  • Location of the reception
  • Date of wedding
  • If required, the domain name of your choice (e.g. www.steve-and-sam.co.uk - please check to see whether the domain name is available using our domain name checker - see question 3)

3. What is the domain name checker?

Please use this to check whether your preferred domain name, if required, (e.g www.steve-and-sam.co.uk) is available to use. If you do send us a preferred domain name that has been registered by someone else, we will email you a list of unregistered domain names that are similar.

4. How long before i have to pay?

We require payment from you within 14 from when you have activated your site, during or after the free trial period.

5. What happens if i do not pay within the 14 days?

If payment is not received within 14 days, the site will be temporarily inactive, until payment is received.

6. How do i pay?

We will send you an invoice via email when you have activated your site. If you wish to continue using the site, after the 14 day payment period, you must pay this via, the secure site, Paypal, bank transfer or cheque, payable to "Durant Web Services".

7. I require a page that isn't listed in my site

Not a problem, just email us the name of the new page you require, after you've created your site, and we'll add it for you.

8. Can you change any content that i can't edit myself?

Yes, just email us any changes you need and we'll change the content for you.
